TUESDAY, APRIL 21ST 7:00PM - 9:00PM | HARVEST TABLE EVENT
Ever wonder why your wine labels sometimes say things like, May contain fish or eggs? Theres a lot of information hidden in those labels, and each wine region has their own approach to labelling wines. Initially spurred by a desire to limit fraudulent representation of wine and eventually designed to assist customers in their selection process, wine labelling is a curious mix of strict rules and marketing genius. Key wine labelling principles on popular wine regions will be introduced with the intent to assist you in future wine selection and inquiries in wine stores. As we debunk a few myths and learn a few tricks, we will of course sample wines of the particular regions and labels in question, and learn how to properly and methodically taste wine using the Quini standard.
Expect a wine tasting like you've never experienced before. An interactive journey into wine that uses your iPhone, iPad, laptop or Android phone to take you on a discovery of learning that lasts a lifetime.
